Directions

Air access through Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI) is 40 minutes away, Reagan International Airport, Washington DC is 45 minutes away, and Dulles International Airport is just a little over an hour away.

From our home, Baltimore is only a 45 minute drive away, while Washington DC and Annapolis are only a short 20 minute car ride.

The Metro provides alternative access to the nation’s capital.

Please DO NOT use mapquest or other online methods of obtaining directions.  They do not give you the best route for getting to us.  The directions below are the ones we ask you to use.

From Washington, D.C.:

1. From the Washington Beltway, 495, take exit for Route 4 South/East (Pennsylvania Ave.)

2. Proceed approximately 20 minutes on Route 4 passing the Prince George’s Equestrian Center on your right, passing over Route 301, and on over the Patuxent River.

3. Just 1/8^th of a mile past the Patuxent River, take exit for Route 408/Wayson's Corner.  This is a right hand exit.  Go to the top of the hill to a STOP sign.  Turn left.

4. Follow to the traffic light in Wayson's Corner.

5. Proceed straight through this intersection that now clearly puts you on Route 408.

6. Proceed 5 miles on 408.

7. Turn right onto Frank Moreland Place (look for a large blue mail box and a street light at this farm road intersection along with a dead end sign on this road).

8. On Frank Moreland Place, proceed ¼ mile straight back.  At end, follow right bend in road.  You will clearly see our sign.

9. Go to the first driveway on the left marked #320.

10. Follow stone driveway that will curve past the barn.

11. Park on the grass to the left.

12. Use the phone box on the post just outside the gate.  Press the button and please wait for someone to escort you in.

From Baltimore, MD:

1. From the Baltimore Beltway (695), take 97 South towards Annapolis.

2. Just outside Annapolis, exit onto the Aris T. Allen Boulevard, Route 665.

3. Proceed approximately 2 miles and exit onto Route 2 South.

4. Follow Route 2 South approximately 14 miles to the traffic circle (roundabout) in Lothian.

5. From the circle, take Route 408 West one mile to Frank Moreland Place.  Turn left onto Frank Moreland Place (look for a large blue mailbox and a street light at this farm road intersection along with a dead end sign on this road.  Don’t confuse Moreland Lane that you’ll come to first with Frank Moreland Place).

6. Proceed 1/4 mile straight back on Frank Moreland Place.

7. At end, follow right bend in road. 

8. Go to the first driveway on the left marked #320.

9. Follow stone driveway that will curve past the barn.

10. Park on the grass to the left.

From Annapolis, MD:

1. South 14 miles on Route 2 to the traffic circle (roundabout) in Lothian.

2. From the circle, take Route 408 West one mile to Frank Moreland Place.  Turn left onto Frank Moreland Place (look for a large blue mailbox and a street light at this farm road intersection along with a dead end sign on this road.  Don’t confuse Moreland Lane that you’ll come to first with Frank Moreland Place).

3. Proceed 1/4 mile straight back on Frank Moreland Place.

4. At end, follow right bend in road.

6. Follow stone driveway that will curve past the barn.
