The Smithsonian Institute There are over 15 museums that you can visit through the Smithsonian. The National Zoo, Natural History Museum, Postal Museum, and the Air and Space Museum are just a few of the popular places to visit. Admission to most museums are free of charge! Take some time to familiarize yourself with the rotating or permanent exhibitions to visit, as well as check out events that you may attend while visiting our area!
