Our pottery truly did start out with a goose at the door.  When Dan was building the studio, Lynda rescued a goosling that was struggling to break out of his egg.  The little goose imprinted on Dan, following him everywhere.  Whenever the goose saw Dan, he came running.  While working on the pottery studio, the goose would sit outside and watch Dan through the windows.     Naming the pottery after this goose seemed kismet.
